Phantom Of The Opera Bust

"Mask or face, which is the monster?"

This haunting question from The Phantom of the Opera inspired my latest 3D creation. I wanted to get a bit out of my zone and sculpted a detailed bust of the Phantom in ZBrush in less than 10 hours, capturing the essence of his mysterious and tragic character. Through careful optimization, I achieved a low-poly model with under 3700 vertices while preserving the intricate details. The UVs were meticulously crafted in ZBrush, allowing for seamless texturing in Substance Painter. The result is a visually striking representation of the Phantom, his mask both concealing and revealing. This piece aims to explore the themes of identity and perception that are central to the iconic story.
